I hate critiquing someone else's words. I don't mind pointing out a misspelled word or misplaced comma, but other than that--it feels like defiling the sacred. Your words, a writer's words, are a part of themselves, well, that's the way I feel about my own.
I will just say that I think if the words were rearranged into lines differently, it could be categorized as Open form poetry. That's how I instinctively wanted to read it, anyway. Keep the formatting the same for the measurements. For example, separate the "dentimeters, inches, feet" part into separate lines as you did for "weeks, months, years" or vice versa. Whichever you prefer.

I just think in an abreviated but emotional piece like this, the visual impact of the word layout conveys a lot of emotion as well.

I like the concept behind it--the message. I was a little surprised by the last word, "Why?" but then I don't know your intention for the piece. I only know what I take away from it personally.
